using mindtone
By using mindtone, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
mindtone is offered as a free tinnitus support tool. Optional donations are voluntary and do not unlock features, content, services, treatment, subscriptions, badges, or special access.
not medical advice
mindtone provides education, tracking, exercises, and relief tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or a replacement for a qualified health professional.
If you have sudden hearing changes, severe distress, thoughts of self-harm, or any urgent medical concern, contact emergency services or a qualified clinician right away.
accounts and sync
Guest data stays local to the device and is not backed up to mindtone's backend. Account data may be synced so your progress can be restored. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure.
supporter wall
If you choose to leave a public supporter message, you grant mindtone permission to show that display name, amount, message, and relative donation date on the supporter wall. You can choose to post anonymously.
mindtone may hide, edit, or remove supporter messages that are abusive, unsafe, spammy, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.
payments
Donations are one-time payments processed by Stripe unless otherwise stated at checkout. Because support is voluntary and does not purchase app functionality, donations are generally not refundable except where required by law.
acceptable use
Do not misuse mindtone, attempt to disrupt the service, access data that is not yours, reverse engineer restricted systems, submit unlawful content, or use the service in a way that harms others.
availability and changes
mindtone may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the app or website. The service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
