what mindtone collects
mindtone may collect account information, app progress, session completions, lesson progress, check-ins, tinnitus tracking entries, relief audio activity, saved mixes, settings, sync status, support history, and supporter wall messages you choose to post.
If you use mindtone as a guest, your app data stays on your device and is not synced to the backend. If you create or sign into an account, mindtone may sync your app data so it can be restored when you reinstall the app or use a new device.
donations and payments
Optional donations are processed by Stripe. mindtone does not store your full card number. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, fraud prevention signals, and transaction records according to Stripe's own privacy practices.
If you open the donation page from the app while signed in, mindtone may include a profile identifier so a successful donation can be linked back to your account.
how data is used
Data is used to run the app, back up and restore your progress, personalize your experience, show your optional supporter message, troubleshoot issues, protect against abuse, and understand whether mindtone is working reliably.
Public supporter wall messages are shown only when you choose to post publicly. You can choose to appear as anonymous.
sharing
mindtone uses service providers such as Supabase for backend data, Vercel for hosting, and Stripe for payments. Data is shared with those providers only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.
mindtone does not sell your personal information. It also does not sell tinnitus tracking data, session progress, or relief activity.
your choices
You can use mindtone as a guest without backend sync. You can also delete app data from your device by uninstalling the app. Account deletion and backend data deletion requests can be sent to support@mindtone.care.
Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, payment, accounting, or legal reasons.
health information
mindtone is designed for self-guided tinnitus support, education, tracking, and relief practice. Do not enter information you do not want stored or synced. mindtone is not an emergency service.
changes and contact
This policy may be updated as mindtone changes. The effective date will be updated when meaningful changes are made.
